Car Oil Filter

Re-considering my lifestyle choices
18 oil changes, 2 fuel filter changes, 2 ATF changes, and a battery swap later...and 266 000+ kms on the car...
On Saturday I finally took advantage of a hazardous waste collection campaign by rounding up used engine oil, oil filters, fuel filters, ATF, and the car's first battery for disposal.
As if we don't already know, this photo is reflective of the waste produced by maintaining a gasoline vehicle. And I haven't even included the waste items from maintenance performed at chain/retail auto shops. It is clear that this industry is so focused on disposable and one-time use items. It is time for change. It is time I change.

the oil filter from hell
this thing would not come off, i tried rubber gloves (for grip), C-clamps, those screw tightened metal ties, and some other things but the oil-filter-wrench did the trick (5 hours later).
